itravelfit.com just kinda happened over time by me just being me. I’m a mom, entrepreneur, world traveler, business owner, best-selling author, boot camp instructor and overall fitness fanatic. I have a 10-year old daughter named Toni who’s grown up with an active family and a love for snorkeling, hiking, snowboarding, surfing and traveling, all of which came about through great vacations.
For as long as I can remember, wellness has been my way of life. It’s more than just nutrition and exercise to me; wellness includes a healthy state of mind, a solid community of friends and much more.
Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Masters of Education in Kinesiology and Wellness, people often ask me loads of questions about why they make the choices they do in regards to food and exercise and how to make better ones. Does this diet or that diet work? How do I stay healthy with so much travel? What are some cool places to take active vacations? And the list goes on… The content on this site is meant to answer many of those questions in an easy, simple to understand and “I can do that” kinda way. I agree with St. Augustine who said, “The world is a book, and those who don’t travel read only one page.” If you like to vacation as much as I do, or even need to travel for your job, you know it can be tough to stay healthy and make good choices. This is especially true with all the crap that’s out there on the Internet leading you to fad diets and ridiculous claims.
So, I created itravelfit.com. I collect information from credible sources and come up with my own, and you get to find it in one location. I’ll pass along tips for exercise, food, adventures, travel destinations, etc… I’ll even share with you how to make money in these industries if you’re interested. I’m an open book. Enjoy the site and share it with fellow travelers!
